Shift Supervisor

The Role

As an Underground Shift Supervisor at Cowal Gold Mine—the largest project Redpath has ever undertaken—you’ll be the driving force behind daily underground operations. This is a five‑year full‑time contract with strong potential for extension, working across both production and development on a major, long‑life project. You’ll lead crews, allocate resources, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards, all while living Redpath’s motto: “Consider it done – safely.”

This position operates on an even-time 2/2 roster, giving you genuine work–life balance while contributing to one of Australia’s most significant underground mining developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate shift tasks with site leadership
• Allocate machinery and work areas
• Supervise, mentor, and support underground crews
• Ensure compliance with SWIs, mine plans, and Redpath standards
• Complete shift reports, timesheets, and operational documentation
• Champion safety, environmental, and quality performance
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions

What We're Looking For:

• NSW Supervisory Ticket
• Underground hard‑rock mining experience
• Relevant licences and certifications
• Manual driver’s licence
• Strong work ethic and a safety‑first mindse
